What went well this week?
This past week I stayed focused on the tasks that needed to happen before I left for New York, so my preparation went well this week. This week was filled with changes in the plan for the app with Ivan and I did well responding to each of those changes. I think I did better trying to stay present with Maw this week. She was really supportive of the app and was willing to step in and help in the way that she could. Me making sure I sent the agreement to Ivan, keep up with emails, have my session with Tony, and hit my gym targets went well.
What didn’t go well this week?
Ivan said I was too emotional about the app changes which wasn’t great. There was a moment at Leo’s with Jesse that he said something about the app and I took it to heart. All of it made me wonder in what ways do I need to build thicker skin. There was a lot more existential thoughts which really bogged me down. And not that they are bad, but they do take up a lot of my heart and mind.
What are you grateful for?
I am grateful for my mom and I being able to laugh so much. I am grateful for my mom listening like a pro listener when I was in my existential pit this week. I am grateful for Maw helping me with the app this week. I am grateful to have made it to New York safely. I am grateful for Noam’s support and listening ear as I navigate my existential questions. I am grateful that Ivan at least still shows up in some way. I am grateful to turn a new stone with this. I am grateful for seeing “Doris” last night to see Joan’s one-woman show and to get to see Cory. I am grateful for the good food that Kristen and I experienced Friday night at Tabarè. I am grateful for my connection to CrossFit and that I won a committed club prize.
What are your focus projects?
My focus projects for this upcoming week are to navigate the next steps with the app, to make the best of my time in Troy, to check on my house and see my Troy friends. I am looking forward to my chat with Savannah on Tuesday and my chat with Alec on Wednesday.
